485 Approved after 2nd FP.

485 approved, it was more of a relief than excitement,

my case was approved on Jan 12th(Friday), LUD updated on 1/13.
Got the notice for my wife and me today, Jan19th. Whats next should i get my passport stamped
or how long does it take for the card to arrive

Approval notice says:
The above application has been approved Prior to receiving you permanent residency card you may be required to report for biometrics processing
Please do not take any action at this time. If you are required to report for this processing, you will receive another notice advising of the date, time and
Location to appear.
If you have not received your permanent resident card or get the above mentioned notice in 90 days, call the no below.


An in sight of my case:
EB3 Labor April 29th 2001
485 Receipt Date Nov 2003
140 approved on May 2004
On 4th EAD.
1st FP nov 2004, stuck in name check for ever.
Used AC21 twice to switch companies,
2nd FP on Jan 10th 2007, in 2 days gc was approved.

I was stuck in name check since 2003, just a few months back after frustration i started contacting my local congressman, senator, first lady and vice president.
Got replies from local congressman and vice presidents office that they will follow up with fbi and ins
and in a few weeks i got the 2nd fp notice and gc thereafter.
So dont loose heart just keep on sending emails, faxs and mails to whomever you can think off. Sure someone will read some time.

My thanks to Rajiv Khanna Sir for posting such a great site and thanks to all the members who have helped me last year when my EAD fell in a crack.
Also thanks to Assur and uscis_gc_appro for their predictions.
My prayers for all those pending in 485 esp folks stuck in name check.

Looks like they will call you for Biometerics if they dont have them.
Did you do Ten FPs or Ten + biometrics

Congratulations! Its giving me a lot of hope. I am stuck in name check since Oct 2004. Gave my second fingerprints today.
 
RedLobster: first of all, my congratullations! I fell happy inside when I see in this forum a GC case approved with PD around mine [26APR01]. Now, I wonder if you are under 245-i and if you also got transferred from your local office to VSC last NOV/DEC05?

My case is Eb3 Apr 30 2001 India..

Gave my 1st FP Code 3 way back in Aug 2005. efiled for 2nd EAD in Nov 2006 and gave my FP Code 2 in Jan 2007. Simultaneously also got FP Code 1 in Jan 2007 and finished my FP on Jan 19th (but there is no change in LUD after my FP so far).....

kindly can tell if you had LUD after your CODE 1 FP....
 
No there was no LUD change, after FP in two days i got emails from USCIS, then i check the online message which said the same as in the approval letter
485 approved bla..bla..bla..
PAllu you shd get ur approval in a few days
 
2nd FP on 01/17

I did my 2nd FP on 01/17/2007. No LUD yet - no message.. getting worried.

I was just curious to know if i got 2nd FP Code 1 during the month when my PD got current, does that mean my name check is cleared????

also i gave biometrics (FP code 2) this month for my efiled EAD...would they take that in consideration for final approval of GC without again asking me to go for biometrics...

may be they take our recent Code -2 biometrics for GC approval.
In my case they did FP - code 1, but i havent received my card yet.
i think they will send me for code -2 fp.
