Congrats on your approval. My LIN is 00-160-*****, RD 04/13/2000, ND 05/10/2000, and my EAD expires May 12, 2001 and we are really worried about its renewal even though our renewal application\'s RD is 03/27/2001, no approval yet. There is no way I can take an unpaid leave. We are really worried. To add: I am EB2, India; PD 12/98; FP 1/21/2001

Now I am inclined to believe that FP date has something to do with the 485 processing at NSC, at least for 2001 FPs. Saw another approval (user: nscdone) at immitracker, who also has the same 1/23 FP date.

Ok now that may be the difference.. my FP location is Detroit. Also, talked with IO at NSC, who said that they are processing January 2000 cases and therefore might take us another 2 to 3 months!! Last week when My husband talked with the IO at NSC he was told that they are working on the May 2, 2000 cases!! conflicting.. a norm for NSC..Good luck Friends

thanks a lot myladoor. the service you are offering us "immigration process bogged folks" is definitely yeoman. every time i would see an approved message, it would give me hope that the folks at INS are really doing what they are getting paid to do. it is also an excellent site for learning from other peoples experience and a good sounding board for our woes.

keep up the good work.

well, my RD is 2/00, FP is 12/26/00, still in total darkness. nothing really explane anything. you got approal, your pure luck, because NSC does not have reasonalbe work procedure to follow. that is why we see some RD 4/00 and some RD 7/99 got approved lately. if any procedure, or even any carefulness, no such big, 9 months difference!!! They don\'t care!!!
