485 Approved 10/7/04, filed in April 2003

Both mine and my wife's 485 got approved yesterday (10/7/2004). I had checked my email at 6.30PM and there was no email, checked at 7.15PM and yahooooooo....2 emails from UCIS confirming the approval of our cases.

140/485 Concurrent filing

140/485 RD- 4/21/2003
140/485 ND - 4/29/2003
140 Approval Date - 4/5/2004
EAD Approval Date - 6/13/2003
Finger Printing ND - 2/12/2004
Finger Printing Date - 3/11/2004
485 Approval Date - 10/7/2004

LUD has not yet changed

No, abouttime, the LUD is still lthe same, and has not changed since the date of approval. I will keep an eye on that, though.

On a side note, somehow the infopass web site doesn't seem to accept appointments and i know for sure it did just a week back. I guess I have to call and make an appointment for the stamping.

glad to know your approval. Our hopes become alive once again.

You try to get the infopass by calling very early in the week. for example monday between 8:30 and 9:30. They would release appointments for the week when they get to work on monday. Since this monday is columbus day and if they are closed, your best bet is tuesday morning. If you call them you would get standard reply to try back again. My friend got his appointment last week by accessing web site every 2 to 3 minute on monday morning. BE QUICK,....if you access around 10:00 it would be too late.
 
Infopass Appointment

I didn't know time of the day/night would make a difference in scheduling for the appointment. I was able to get the appointment for 25th Oct for the stamping. I tried at 11.30 (sunday) in the night for myself and 8.30 in the morning (columbus day-monday) for my wife (don't ask why i tried at two different times). We both got the same time and date for the appointment.
