485 Approvals for EB3 after July 1st.

Hi,

I saw an couple of Eb3 approvals on and after July 1st.

If you have been approved on or after july 1st and you are in the EB3 category, please post your approvals in the below thread. It will give hope to a lot of folks like us to see that EB3 cases are being approved in July also.

I was approved on July 4 2005 and received the approval notice on July 8 '05.
Status is changed to card mailed
But i am waiting for my spous'e approval. I am sure we have to waiting since i my spouse RD is Apr 11 2005.

Yes thats true , EB2 can file for 485 and also are getting processed pretty quickly within 6 months or so.
I dont think there is any system in processing EB3 cases @ VSC at least. My collegaue who had filed after me ( 485 RD of DEC 2003 ) and PD of Jan 2003 has got his 485 approval on July 5th .

Did someone say that there are no Eb3 485 approvals till Oct???? Please do not take the dates posted by USCIS as gospel truth it is misleading information ..

Since July 4th is a federal holidy the chances of you being approved on that day are exactly zero. More than likely the case was approved on 6/30 or 7/1 (the visa number was almost certainly allocated on 6/30 or before) and it took a few days for the approval to be generated.

We saw a few cases like this when EB3 India/China/Phillipines first retrogressed. The first days after the first of the month saw a few approvals, but nothing more after that.
 
Has VSC started approvals in future dates EAD/AP :Aug 25 2005
