485 Approval with expired FP

Folks,
I applied for AOS in Nov'02.
FP-Feb'03
with RFE in Apr'04.
My FP is obviously expired, but I haven't
been asked to do FP again.
Also when my lawyer queried about my status,
they said that I am in security check stage..
My question is if anyone has gotten approved
with an expired FP.

I signed for case status portfolio recently only..
So I havent received any emails from them in
the past. So I have no LUDs.. :(
 
It is highly unlikey to receive approval without 2nd FP but again anything is possible...

had some questions about AOS timeline.
FP check is done before name check. is this correct?
are they both done by FBI?
when is the 2nd FP triggerd? on expiry of 1st FP or when
case is ready to be adjudicated?

Not sure if the name Check is done before or after the FP. I guess they both are done by FBI. and i would assume name check is done prior to FP check. Lets say onces name is osama umm..why would i go about checking your FP...

2nd FP is triggered if you make enuff noise for them to look at your case or if they randomly pick your case to be adjudicated. I have seen both. people who make inquiry and then get FP believe in that. Some people are clueless and they also get 2nd FP.
