485 Approval trend after 2nd FP done

I guess the bottom line is that there is no connection between
FP, RFE, EAD, AOS and 485 approval, no matter how much
people would like to find one. The only real relationship is
that if you don't act upon receiving FP / RFE notices you won't
get approved. Besides that, all these are 100% independent.
EAD application does not 'trigger' approval, 2nd FP does not
'trigger' approval, etc. Think about it, once someone gets approved, there's a good chance he/she just completed one
of these (FP, EAD, AOS, RFE) since you get one of these every
3-4 months on the average. The fact that one got approved
after FP, RFE, EAD or AOS is just a coincidence and statistically
very probable too.

You sound like this:

Even my 2nd FP is due on 02/03/04, I may still get the approval before that? Please correct me if I am wrong!

485 approval after 1.5months...

i had my FP2 done on 1-Nov-2003(scheduled on 14-Nov-2003)
& my 485 was approved on 24-Dec-2003.
so probably 1.5 months from FP2...

RD: Feb-2002
FP2: 1-Nov-2003
AD: 24-Dec-2003

thanks.

BCIS' inconsistency and unpredictability inclines me to support hanma's thought. For me, this is becoming a game of luck. Statistics are no longer reliable. Has anyone really seen a consistent pattern in the 485 process ?

I think it's possible because the FP notice even says to ignore
it if your case has been approved. With BCIS anything is
possible, even getting a visa after you hijack a plane and
cause $100B in damages (and having been dead for months).

Your statement was Proved correct by one of the case that was approved today (RDMarch15)!

Any other guy out there to share there experiences.
