485 Approval Today

Hi all,

Received 4 emails today from USCIS about approval of my & spouse's IP 485. It was pending since Sept'03.

What is the process now?

Please advise.

Congratulations. Looks like you are not too happy with your approval.. I am just wondering by seeing your email as you havent expressed any happiness in your email.
 
Hi Want GC Soon,

I am really happy. IT IS MY DAY TODAY..:O))

My feelings about GC process were almost dead when my 140 took forever to get approved. It was filed in Nov'02 and approved in Oct'04 that too after we contacted local congressman...:O)

Mine is EB2 RIR case with following details:

I 140: Filed in CA, transferred to VT in Nov'02 - Approved Oct'04
I 485: Filed in CA, transferred to VT in Sept'03 - Approved TODAY.

Thank you all for your support and wish you all best wishes & Happy Holidays. I can tell you that it is just matter of TIME when you get your approvals.
