485 applied and laid off

Hi,
Need some help.
What will happen if my I485 is applied and I am laid off. I have approved I140 with priority date - Aug 2004. I have applied I 485 in july 07. Waiting for receipt. What if I get an new job and what if my old employer(who laid off) will not revoke I140 or I485? Can I wait and file for AC 21 after 180 days? What are the options I have? What can I do ?

-------------------if the employer dont revoke the I-140 if pending I-485 hits 180 days you are OK. I-485 is filed by you and belongs to you employer cant revoke that

Can I wait and file for AC 21 after 180 days?

After layoff, before 180 days, what will happen if GC gets approved when..

1. While looking for a job
or
2. Already acquired a similar job
