485 Application transferred to Dallas District Office

Hi All,
I spoke to INS this morning and IIO said that my application has been transferred to Dallas District Office for processing. Does any one have an idea how much time is it going to take for a approval after an application is transferred to an Officer for processing ?

I went to immitracker and I found that there are many people who are n the same boat. Yesterday I recieved a RFE to submit I130, Affidavit of support... etc.. exactly same as the people in that chat. So, have you gone any further in your case.. please let me know what will happen next.

You may affect/loose your citizenship rights if this is your approach. Wait till your wife return/allow her to return to USA, go to a divorce office and both need to explain the situation and go from there.

US law does not respect citizens who get married and try to approach the situation away from law in this way without giving an apportunity to your spouse to express her views in US court. For a divorce both parties views has to be considered and respected in US court if you are a citizen here.

I-485 Transfered to Dallas district office

I am in a similar situation. My case got transfered to the Dallas district office 03/00. My receipt date was 12/99, and I had my finger prints done sometime in 01/00. The next time I heard from the INS was when I got an fp redo notice (05/01) as a part of an RFE, which I have completed and returned to the INS since. I am still waiting! My lawyer says nothing can be done about these transfers, and you got to wait it out till they either send you an approval or call you for an interview. If you have more information please let me know.
