485 and 140

Dear All,

I am planing to submit my NIW 140 petition now. However, I can not submit the 485 together due to the well known reason.

I am worrying if I changed my jobs and locations later, what will happen ?

To be simple, if 140 are approved in one center, then if I file my 485 to a different center, are there any bad effects ?

You will still be able to file your 485 from the center which approved your I-140. I did that and even did a change of address. Mine was EB1-EA, so it was not as much of a problem. In your case, you will need to prove that your new job is in the national interest and is in the same field, if they issue an RFE.
