Hi,I need somebody\'s help
I applied my I-485 on August 8,2001,ie; my reciept date and my notice date is sept27,2001.When I called VSC automatic mail system , it says "Your application for Adjustment of status was recieved on Sept 27,2001".Now, my situation is I will get laid off from the employer on Feb 22,2001 which is well ahead of 180 days (I am safe in that way).But definitely, one month short of the ND.What will I do?Will my GC be safe or is there any probable case that my case will be denied.I appreciate anybody\'s experience who has gone through this phase or an expert\'s advice.
