4 years 9 months - Question on N-400 application form

Hello,

According to various documentation (including "Guide to Naturalization M476"), I am eligible to apply for US citizenship after completing 4 years and 9 months of permanent residence in US.

However, there is no clear way of indicating this fact on the first page of N-400 form (Part 2. Information about your eligibility). The closest option for me is - "A. I have been a Lawful Permanent Resident of the United States for at least five years" and technically this is incorrect in my case since I have completed only 4 years and 9 months.
So, should I hand-write next to option A that I will complete 5 years as on "..." date? Or should I use the option "D. Other(Please explain)" and put the 4 years and 9 months explanation there.

I dont want to unnecessarily complicate my application - looking for a way to reflect my situation in a simple way.

Anyone who has filed the N-400 form recently after completing 4 years and 9 months but before completing 5 years - your help is greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Manish

For the sake of non-complexity, I applied after 4 years and 10 months..

15-20 days is not going to speed up your application any way when you
have already waited for so long..

Better be safe in any case..

Thanks for your reply, tdesai. Do you remember what you answered in part 2 of N400 form's first page? I would appreciate if you can share that info.

I applied when I was 4Y 9M 11D into GC.

I checked Part2.A
