Hi all
Is there any website where I can calculate the total number of months from the date my GC was issued to make it 4 year and 9 months?

I have rough idea but it better be precise...because i don't want to send them even one day before its 4 year and 9 months...

help needed...:)

hey joef

do u know any particular way, URL, formula to count the exact days to make it 4 year and 9 months..

regarding this inconsistency, lets say my 4 years and 9 months or 5 years -90 days will complete on February 25... I will add 2-3 more days to it before sending in my application..

I guess that is a fair way to deal with this problem..isn't it!:)

Though you did not ask me, here is my cent. Wait a couple of weeks to be absolutely sure of things. I waited another month after 4 yrs 9 months and sent it.

Anycase you cannot become a citizen until 5 exact years have passed and depending on where you live you will not get an interview date within 3 months after sending N-400.

Now, JoeF whaddayya think?

problem solved

Hey guys,

I found this www.calendarhome.com

at the top page you see "Date Calculator."

It will tell you exactly how many days and months from one day to another.... + add couple days to avoid that 3 month/90 day inconsistency...

try for yourself..

US Citizenship

Hi,
My wife has been a PR for over 10 years . She had been travelling in and out of the country with the reentry permit . But the last time when she travelled out she was outside the country for more than 2 years . She came back on 1 Nov '99 .

Is she eligible to apply for citizenship 4 yrs and 1 day after Nov'99 or does she have to wait a few more months to satisfy the
4 yrs and 9 months rule ? Can anyone here help me . Thanks

I your case yes she can after 4 year and 1 day rule.... dont wait for 9 more months...

you are allowed to apply now...

just do it... :p
