3rd FP update -- for those who might be interested.

Went to Boston Portland Street office yesterday with the 3rd FP notices. The supervisor there checked -- and confirmed that the notices were mistakes! We won't have to take 3 FP.

Those who did get 3rd FP notice -- you might want to go ahead of time to the local office to check instead of waiting for the FP date. Due to the holiday season -- the local offices are almost empty -- wait time is almost nothing. Just a suggestion!

Also -- the note from my lawyer was -- we HAD to go and verify ourselves! I wish there was a better system, however -- no use complaining.

I have a quick question: Who did you talk to in the office ?? The one who gives people the forms and pencils or the one to whom you need to submit the form ??

did mention that this happened because of some computer glitch at INS and asked us to ignore. I did get my approval notice before 3rd FP but wife's case is pending... so was thinking about her 3rd FP
 
Went for 3rd FP today. The supervisor said that there is a glitch which is sending out FPs. He told us that we do not need to redo our 2nd FP since it is on file.
I have already replied to my paystubs RFE. All that needs to be done is to wait with your fingers crossed. Looks like some distraught programmer at INS decided to get his payback by sending out these FP notices in the holiday season.

Today, I went to Brooklyn to take my FP3. They told me they don't know what did the FP3 mean and let me take the FP3.

Bad news is my EAD2 expired while EAD3 have not been approved.

Good news is that our seceretory told me with the notice of EAD3 I can continue my work.

For EAD extension.I think it depend on where you work? IN university? or company? or self employ, or restraunt.

I am working in the university,doing reaserch. I don't know what will happen. But I have no way but still work, may be the seceretory is wrong. Anyway,if she told me that,I am happy to going on. I do not know everything just go ahead.
