3rd FP notice received

Any body else receive 3 FP notices in a row?

I have done my first FP on Sept 25th, 2004. And the online message is:

On September 30, 2004, the fingerprints for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were collected and are pending review.


Today I received third FP notice, which is scheduled on 12/02/2004. I just called FBI, they said my finger print review result was sent back on 09/25/04. What is possibly going wrong here? Is it possible that my first FP is not valid?

I guess you could contact USCIS customer service and ask what's up. They may not know....... Otherwise try to go for FP3 as soon as possible.
 
When my wife did her FP on 09/05/2004, had lot of ridge errors as her hands were very DRY and that ASC person took all most half hour to complete the process.. and he also said that it is possible that she may be getting another FP later on.... FBI sent the results on 09/06/2004.. the online msg updated to

"On September 7, 2004, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made."

I think it could be one of the possibility in your case. Did you do the manual FP or electronic?
 
I received a notice from ASC that I need to redo my FP. It is frustrating. Don't know how much this is going to delay the process. They use scanner did my FP.

Did u do an early FP last time?
