Hello All,
I'm in h1 status and worked for company A from Feb 2000 to Jan 2005. My 6th year anniversary is in Feb 2006. I transferred to company B and new H-1b was approved for another 3-years until Feb 2008, which includes year 6, 7 and 8.
I also filed a traditional LC application in Jan 2005, which has been
converted to PERM. No results yet. I-140 has not been filed.
My questions is, can I just use up the new 3 year h1b extension? Or should I just use it until the 6 year limit and then re-file every year after that? At the same time I'm wondering if this will have any implications in getting my greencard.
Thanks.
