The USCIS - FBI Joint committment for clearing namecheck backlogs..
first milestone is tomorrow
May 2008 - those will namechecks pending 3 years..

Do you think they will comment if this milestone has been met?

I take it to mean that by end of May they will have cleared all pending name checks over 3 years old. Since it was a only a goal (like everything else the USCIS reports) they set, I doubt they will announce if they actually met it or not.

Btw, they claim thay have already eliminated all name check delays more than 4 years old.

Anyone waiting more than 3 years? I have been waiting for almost 2 years and 7 months now.

An important thing to consider is that they might be taking into account the date your name check started, and not your PD. For example, if your PD is 11/05 and your name was initiated only in 2/06, then they consider that your name check has been pending for 2 years 4 months instead of 2 years 7 months.
