3-year extension approved

FYI
I got my 3 year H1B extension (8,9,10th) approved.
My 140 has been pending and I applied for my 485 in Oct. last year.

Just wanted to let you guys know.
 
That is interesting.
Did you confirm with USCIS why they gave you 3 years ?

I have never heard of that, :eek: but that does not mean it is not possible. I would verify that, because error on their part does not allow you to stay. Even if you did nothing wrong. You may end up out of status after one year. :eek:

Thanks for your comments. I've asked that question to my lawyer. But I believe, I saw a few others with a three year approval with a pending I-485. I wonder how this rarity can happen to many other people.
Are you sure that I'm only eligible for a 1 year approval?
