3 weeks, check still not cashed!

I am wondering in what case will they take more than 3 weeks to cash checks? After browsing the time frames here I found usually it's because something wrong with the application and uscis send it back. But I don't receive anything either. Is that possible that I could check with uscis what's going on?

No, don't check with USCIS or with the mail man, you need to wait till you hear back from USCIS. :eek: I find it strange the people start to panic because they don't hear back from a bureaucracy which is USCIS. I wouldn't lose sleep over this, unless you have mailed your application 6 weeks ago, then I would want to call someone.:cool: Assume that your application fell in some desk, the officer will soon process it...:rolleyes:
 
i wish i could have that attitude, but just getting more pressure that ppl file later than me are having their check cashed...

See my timeline.. Mine took around 3 weeks. I wouldn't worry. You can call the uscis if you want but they won't help you until its been 30 days min. You call the number and hit #1 #2 #3 #1.... Then you will be able to speak to a human when and if you reach 30 days. I wouldn't worry though!
 
yeah, they cashed my checked late yesterday.. from reading the case number on the back of the check, seems they just received it around 8/10 but my attorney told me he mailed on 7/27... whatever, but one more question, why it is "MSC", how could it go to missouri?
 
Seriously? What do you mean how could it go to Missouri? They can send it wherever they want to. I can't believe how some people act about this stuff and how impatient they are.
 
USCIS sends the application to wherever they want? since i thought would go to VSC since I am in NY

Well, now that your check has been cashed, you are concerned about why they send it to Missouri? :( What it is that you really want? :confused: I know why they send it to Missouri, to punish your lawyer for misleading you about mailing it on 7/27...:D Focus on the process, are you going to go nuts because your FP is going to be in Staten Island? :rolleyes:Come on, enjoy life and leave the squirrels to figure out where the nuts are burried, USCIS can just crack those nuts, including yours if you aren't being patient...:D
