If it\'s taking almost 3 months to get an RD based on the tracking. ( Those who sent the 485 applications in May are getting the RDs now! )

Does this mean we get the EAD and RD/ND at almost the same
time?

yes, you are right.

some folks even got their AP before getting receipts.

Nope, you will get the RD/ND first and wait for moooooooooooooooooore time and then you will be eligible for EAD. (That is how the VSC works). No gain without wait.
