2rd AP - Do I need to justify my travel?

Hi,

I am applying for 2nd AP using the New Form I-131. In that it says I need to provide a letter stating why I should be granted an AP. My Lawyer had filed the previous one for me. As far as I remember, he did not ask me to provide any such letter.

Q. Do I need to provide this letter, justifying why I deserve to get an AP? Any suggestion? It is going to be regular trip to India.

I have used 3 AP's in the past, never submitted any letter. Maybe it is a new requirement. Just write a letter stating that you want to visit your home country to see your family.
 
Simply write that you need to visit your family back home. You need not have a letter for this. If you want you can simply type this on a seperate sheet of paper and attached with you application. I hope this may help you.
