Hi everybody,
My husband and I just received the second package from the KCC. We are doing CP due to our high case number.

Here are our questions. Any help truly appreciated:

1) The package we received states that we have to take the DS-230 form (original and copy) to the interview. We do have the copy, but the originals were sent to KCC. What should we do?

2) We are planning on presenting an Affidavit of Support. Is it the I-134 form or the I-864?

3) It is our understanding that the only document that is in Spanish but needs to be translated into English is the High School Diploma. Does this mean that the other documents that are also in Spanish do not need English translation?

4) Do the copies of original/certified documents have to be certified?

Please read my big post on General info for DV winners ( see my signature ).
There you would have found the answers to your questions :

1) copy is fine. the consulate is supposed to have received the original from KCC.
2) I134 for DV winners
3) that depends on the consulate. Even if there is a fee, it is worth it to contact the consulate to know about it, as certified translations are expensive.
However, if your interview is in Country A ( ex = Spain ), documents in the official language of Country A ( = spanish ) are usually accepted, and of course, those in English as well.
4) No.

Thank you Catseyes

Thank you so much catseyes.

I was posting these questions as we also emailed the embassy. some of the instructions were not 100 percent clear, such as the I-864 vs. I-134....

anyways, we truly appreciate your help.

best,

For Dv winners it's very clear to use I-134 as per USCIS website.I-864 applies to other categories like family etc.
