Hello,

I had posted message about getting my 2nd FP notice.
I am WAC02087-5####.
I had a wart on my thumb which was cured but that little area on my thumb does not have the prints or lines, and still proper skin need to come up. As this is my 2nd FP, do you think BCIS will allow me to get the FP done?. Do all 10 fingers have to be in proper shape for FP. According to the doctor, he says that 9 fingers should be more than enough for FBI for finger printing check.
Any body gone thru this stuff before?...

thanks for replying...

Me. I had a same problem. But luckily my wart was just at the base of my of
finger and they don't fingerprint that part. The FP guys are prepared for such
stuff and I think it should not be a problem. My FP were received by FBI
and cleared without any problem.

Call and check with ASC. I think you should be fine. I know a person who has 4 fingers missing from one of his hands. Prints were taken for the 6 fingers without even a question asked (as to when the person lost the fingers etc.,). The results were received by CIS in 2 days.
In your case the print might even have enough points to search in the database. The technician should be able to make a judgment after seeing the print. Given that other 9 fingers are clear, you should be fine. In any case, call and check with the ASC where you are scheduled for fingerprint.

It might depend then on the person at the counter. I was at the San Jose FP center. And there was this person in front of me who had a band-aid wrapper around his thumb. They told him they couldnt do it. But they asked him to come back in a few days ssaying that the notice was valid for a few days ( I didnt catch the time frame the guy was talking about)

Thanks guy's for taking time and replying to the messages. Gives me some confidence after reading desi-bartender and Thelastmile messages.

I had some warts on my thumb and index finger and was worrying too. But the ASC never noticed it and just took my prints as normal. When I asked the person at ASC about it, she told me the prints are OK and the warts were not a problem. And the online status says FP received and processing resumed.
