I just received my 2nd FP notice yesterday in the mail. I want to go in to get my get early FP done today. Does it mean I can that get approval soon?

No.

It will not. Infact it will make you more worried why they are not approving your case. Just go in time. INS is not following any rules and regulation.

what do you guys mean by EB classification?

FP2 is considered to be a good sign. Even though a lot of people are waiting for a long time after FP2.
Good Luck

Can somebody please tell me what this means?
I am sorry if this is a stupid question..

Gala1905,

There two ways through which a foreign national may be sponsored for U.S. permanent residence - family sponsor or employment-based (EB) sponsor.

There are three employment-based processes through which many companies sponsor foreign nationals for U.S. permanent residence:

1. Outstanding Researcher (EB1 Preference Category)

2. Multinational Executive/Manager (EB1 Preference Category)

3. Labor Certification (based on the degree level of the job)
· Advanced Degree (EB2 Preference Category)
· Bachelor’s Degree (EB3 Preference Category)

Hope it helps.

Thanks Lahari,
in that case I am EB2..

So I am guessing our clasification might affect the speed of the approval.. Like EB1 can be approved faster that EB2??

Even though I get FP2 and did FP2 last Thursday. My online message still stays the same. ???

Gala1905,

Any reason, how you got your 2nd FP so quick? Can you please tell where you did your FP's? ..

I have done my first FP on 11/14/2002, still waiting for 2nd one.

RD : 09/09/2002
ND : 09/21/2002
FP1:11/14/2002

your guess is as good as mine

I have been monitoring the movements for a while and this is what i noticed EB 1 goes first, then EB 2 then EB3. so dont get suprised if u see relatively earlier approval for Sept. 2002 filers of either EB1 or EB2 than March 2002 filers of EB3 classification.
I may be wrong though. What do u think?

I AGREE .. 100%

The cases getting approved for sept, Oct 2002 were posted in 2000, 2001 ,,,, even the RD is of later months

Either they were in the ring old enough or they have EB1 ,, EB2, catagory.

Exceptions are always there
