Hi Friends,

RD : 12/4/02 got the 2nd FP notification yesterday ie. 7/12/04. I did my FP1 on 2/27/03. I got the 2nd FP around 17 months after my FP1 is done. I have my I-140 approved in 1/03 just within 1 1/2 months after filed for Concurrent processing (I-485/I-140/EAD/AP). Its already 19.5 months completed after filing my 485 process. I never received any RFE till now. I notified two address change notifications till now to INS.

I know the range of approval is very wide any where from Oct'01 - Mar'03. But in general recent times how the approvals happening after receiving the 2nd FP notification.

Also my message still retained the same.

Please shed the light.

Expect an approval on avg. 1-2 months after fp2. that seems to be the trend off late. I am in the same boat as you except my RD is in Oct 02.

FP2 notice received for 12/20/2002 RD

Hi,

My wife and I received our FP2 notices yesterday from our lawyers. The date to appear for FP is Aug 07, 2004. Our RD for I-485 is 12/20/2002 and FP1 was done on Feb 23/24, 2003.

We just moved to San Francisco, CA last week and filed AR-11. So the INS notice and our AR-11 must have crossed. I had a query. CAN WE APPEAR FOR our FP2 in San Francisco? Our notice is for Newark ASC.

Thank you.

Happyperson

I-140 AD : Oct 2003
I-485 RD : 12/20/2002
FP1: 02/23/2003
EAD2 / AP 2 granted Feb 10, 2004 valid until Feb 10, 2005

same time frame

I am glad to see others with the same time frame as mine.

RD - 12/10/2002
FP1 - 2/5/2003
140 AD - 6/25/04

Got the notice for second FP, 2 days back. It is scheduled for 8/10/04.

However, my wife has not received the notice for her second FP. Is this something that I should worry about ?

Add me and spouse to the list guys:

I-140 approved: 9/10/2003
I-485 RD: 12/9/2002
FP-1 recd: 3/5/2003
FP-2 scheduled: 8/18/2004

No RFE, no change at all in LUD. Looks like this was an automated computer generated FP notice!

Good to see atleast a consistent behaviour by vermont service center sending FP notification to a group of people whose RD are close by. They should do it in every action. i don't like the way they are approving the cases in a wide range Oct'01 - Mar'03 that shows how organized they are. Some time before i wrote an article about the duration of time INS should take utmost to process I-1485. They should not take more than 6 months time for the approval of the cases. They should know that lifes of other people are in their hands. They should feel it responsible. Thats what they are paid for i mean we are paying the fee for. People are ready to pay even little higher fees to get better a service. Hope the future applications should enjoy if BCIS improve their process.

I am also in the same boat.

I have moved from Detroit to Houston about a year ago and filed AR-11 as soon as I have moved to Houston.
I got 2nd EAD to my Houston address but FP2 notification is sent to Detorit address to give finger prints in Detroit Aug 5th. This notification is redirected to my Houston address.

I have received for myself and not for my wife as she gave her first finger prints after six months of my first finger prints...

Can I go for finger prints to Houston ASC?

I485 - RD 10/21/2002
FP1 - Dec 2002
EAD 1 - Dec 2002
EAD 2 - Jan 2003

hisai,

yes you can go ahead and do your FP2 at a local ASC without rescheduling. I have a similar case. Mine was scheduled in Boston next month, but I did my FP2 today in Seattle. Didn't have any problems.

Thanks,

Did Early FP2 in Boston last weekend

RD - 11/02. Received FP2 notication for 08/06 but walked in and did early FP2 last weekend. The supervisor was very courteous.

can someone please answer my question:

"Should I worry about the fact that my wife has not yet received the FP2 notification, but I got it a couple of days back"

Is this normal ?

Hi Friends,
