2nd FP fee?

Do we have to pay any fee for 2nd FP? (I think we've to pay for 1st FP)...

My first FP was done on 03/14 and haven't yet received the 2nd FP notice. Does it depend on the state?

he got RFE 5 times bleive me because of Senator

I have seen other ppl contacting congressman and senators and got help right away. It's just an inquiry
 
There is no fee for 2nd FP. I did 2nd FP in June'2003.

I don't think the senator calls the officer your case is assigned, they probably can call the old VSC number to talk to the old IIOs.
I don't think officer knows about the phone call.

Plus cluesless and yoda both contact senators, their case is still pending.............
 
I got the 2nd FP notice yesterday. They did not mention any fees. You should get your 2nd FP notice pretty soon. I have another advice for you. I remember you getting an RFE for employment and that you were planning to send it in Mid July. If you have not sent it wait for a few more days(you have 12 weeks to reply). If you send it now, the officer is going to see that your FP has expired and keep it aside. God knows when they will touch it again. If you send your RFE results after sending the 2nd FP results, there is a chance of you getting approved when they open your RFE reply and seeing that you have cleared FPing. I could be wrong but its worth a try.

Our RFE response is not yet sent. I too felt that it's better to have the FP done before RFE response... for the same reasons that you mentioned.

We haven't yet seen the RFE - but seems it's for employment letter and "HR is working on it" for the past 1.5 months... They have to reply by 09/03...

Nothing seems to be in our hands!

If you reply RFE before FP expire. there is a pretty good chance to get apporval.

If you send It after FP expire. They will send 2nd FP and put your file in the trash. they will pickup your trach again may be after
1 or 2 months.

- This will happen if my RFE response reaches them before my 2nd FP results.

But if they have the 2nd FP results when they receive RFE response, they might just go ahead and take a decision on the case. - That's what Gonecase was suggesting. And I too kinda agree with it.
