Today, 8/5/2003, I went to Pheonix BCIS field office to give 2nd fingerprints. Per the FP notice, my appointment was on 8/28/2003 at Sacramento, CA. I moved to Pheonix recently.
We reached the center at 12:45. We were given a simple form to fillup, which took around 5 min. We submitted the filled in application along with my identification card (drivers licence and passport for my wife). They gave us a number. Waited for 20 min and we were called inside and sat again for another 10 min and gave the fingerprints.
They asked us whether we have an appointment today. We said no and also said, we moved from Sacramento recently. The lady who took my FP was very friendly and updated my Pheonix address in their database and took the FP.
Overall, it took around 2 hours for me (including 30 min drive oneway) and it was a really painfree experience.
Hope the report when reaches BCIS, they process our case immediately.
