2nd FP done on Aug 30 2004, RD Oct 2001

Friends,

Waiting in the Queue, for GC to get approved. 1st FP done on April 2002, We got the 2nd FP schedule and we did the 2nd Finger Prints on Aug 30th 2004. Now Planning to Apply for 4th EAD. Throught the Congressmen in VA, I atleast got 2nd FP schedule. Friends can you all let me know, what is the next step, How long is the wait time after doing 2nd FP to get an interview or approval or denial.

Appreciated for your answers.

RD for I-485 is oct 30 2001
waiting since then.....
 
If name check is complete than should hear in few weeks with approval.

What is meant by name check. Did you mean FP clearance from FBI.

It is run by the FBI different from other check including finger print.
A report is sent to the CIS/ INS after is complete.
 
Online status did not change

I had my finger prints done first week of August, Still waiting for any response.
My online status says "On January 24, 2003, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made"

This message was posted right before they sent me notice for 2nd FP.

Any idea, what should I expect next ?
 
You send for the name check to the FBI. Mine also RD Jan 02 and I am waiting for 32 months now. Yesterday I got a call from FBI saying you name check is done on Sept 1 st and send the result to INS. Now I should see whether I will be approved in one week time.
