2nd fingerprints

Please help anyone, I am so desperate for an answer to my question.

I received a 2nd fingerprint notice yesterday to be done in October. During this time I will be away on a business trip . Would they let me do it if I go to their office sometime next week???
And another question : how long does it take from the time they receive the 2nd fingerprints till you get the approval ???????

this depends upon where/which location are you going to do your fp . inside or outside USA and if they allow on your business trip. No one can estimate from FP to approval ....
 
You can always try to get early date, there is nothing wrong in that. Nowadays VSC is very slow. It may take minimum 1+ month(s) to see approval.

they may tell you to come later and reschedule it after your trip. They atleast told that to me in Dallas. If I remember, I was told that you can do it upto 90 days after the scheduled date.
But nothing wrong in giving it a shot.
 
Many have done their FP1/2 early..!
So No harm in giving it a try, as that's the only option for you[apart from postponing]..So walk-in and try your luck out..

DONT SAY ANYTHING.
Just go over there, hand in the Notice Letter and you would be fine..! People who have told they are coming in 'early' have been denied..! So just go casually..
Do have a valid reason though, just in case, if noticed and questioned.
