2nd Fingerprinting Notice Sent Yesterday!

I just called USCIS and they sent my 2nd fingerprint notice yesterday. Oh my, i guess it's almost over.

Letters work. I wrote, Mrs. Bush, George Bush, Dick Cheney, Mrs. CHeney, Congressman, Senators. Nancy Pelosi even. I was about to file 1447B. We will see waht happens.

2nd FP Notice ??

Getting 2nd FP notice, is that a good sign ? Please advise. I have been desperately waiting for my IL. My interview back in Jan of thiss year was descheduled because of file not being transferred from TX to the local DO in Atlanta. Let me know what your thoughts are on this. Here is my time line:

PD: April 13 2006
1st FP: May 11 2006
Interview letter issued: Dec 21 2006
Interview date: Jan 22 2007
2nd FP: Sep 4th 2007
IL: ??
Oath: ??

This is quite interesting. I too have been in namecheck black hole for almost the last two years. I started the process on Oct'05, interview in March'06 and then no oath ceremony, since the name check was not completed. This week, out of the blue, I have received a second FP notice.

Any guru out here who is aware of what it means? Does this simply mean that pervious FP have expired and hence this notice, while namecheck is still not complete? Or does this mean that namecheck is completed and hence second FP notice was created?

Under what circumstances is second FP notice sent out while waiting for namecheck to be completed?

Please help out with all your collective expertise and experiences

This is interesting! I wonder if this has anything to do with the announcement made by the Ombudsman about significant movement in namechecks that have been delayed for 33 months or longer.

In my case, it has not yet been 33 months, more closer to 24 months. In your case too, it appears to be less than 33 months. So one cannot say with certainty if it is linked to it.

Anybody have any clues on what second FP means when one is in namecheck black hole?
