2nd Fingerprint : The reverse dilemma

No

I have not received any response yet. Planning to send the follow-up fax next week; might call them
again as well.

Regards,

I got one reply from INS after two months I send the fax, still processing. so don't expect they will reply you in 15 days, that is mission impossible.

I done the 2nd Fp three weeks ago, still no update.

INS are sleeping..

Haiwang:

So you've received your 2nd FP notice eventually, from your attorney or your own mail?

If you have experience on "get the 2nd FP done w/o the INS notice", could you advise kindly?

I had same situation

This is my April 2003 story:

I ran into same situation like you. Our (my/my wife) 1st FP was expired and I asked my lawyer to fax for 2nd FP. He did ! . Well my wife got 2nd FP notice but I didn't. I talked to lawyer , he asked me to wait for few weeks. My wife she did her FP. I waited for 1.5 months, asked lawyer again and lawyer sent another fax to INS. He got a reply back from INS that they are busy in religous worker processing, keep quite. Lawyer asked me to keep
quite.

6 months passed. Still no FP . Sent another fax in Nov 2003. My case got transferred for interview and I got 2nd FP from local office I didn't change job , no conviction. I donno the reason.

thx

Very same story

Khi_boy:

Two weeks after sending the inquery for 2nd FP, I found that my transfer was transferred from the CSC to the local office in San Jose.

Have you got interview scheduled?
Do you know where can I find information about transferred cases, such as "waiting line in local office", ......

khi-boy:

I hope your case will be approved soon, or approved already.

I received interview schedule after two month waiting: May 18th.

The interview notice letter checked all the document lists.

One of them is very strange:
"Bring this letter, all passports and official ID and Medical Exam Results".

I remembered that "Medical Exam Results" were submitted upon filing I-485 years ago.

Had you received similar interview notice letter? Please kindly advise?

I485 Stamping

Hi all,

My (and my wife's) I485 is approved. Details at the bottom.
Thanks everyone for the support.

Our case was filed and processed in CSC. We have just recently
moved out to Nebraska center. We got the approval notice thru
the attorney's office after we moved to new state / address. We
did not get it from USCIS directly even though we had updated
the address at CIS over phone 9 days before the approval date.

Now, questions.

1. Can we go to any (local) CIS office for passport stamping?

2. Do we need to take appointment? I tried INFOPASS and did
schedule one for myself. It would not allow me to schedule
another one for my wife - Do we really need separate appts?

3. What documents should we carry? Approval notice tells
us to bring I-94/Arrival-Departure records, passport, photos
and the approval notice.

4. Do they take all EAD/AP etc back?

Please respond ASAP since my scheduled appointment is for tommorrow
and I would like to use it, if possible.

Thanks and regards,
SVengat

Congratulations!! Your long and painful journey is almost over. Take all the latest EAD/AP documents, passport, original approval notices. Make sure you give your present address on the form for Green card mailing. Good luck!
