2nd fingerprint appointment

I have been stuck in name check since 2006. I just got another fingerprint notice. what are my chances or odds of getting an interview soon after and my name check being cleared? thanks
You received another FP notice as your original FPs expired. This can be seen as a sign that USCIS is actively working on your case and that you should see a response on your case soon, or it may be just a USCIS administrative task of keeping your file up to date. I would seriously consider WOM if you don't hear from USCIS within 90 days of 2nd FP ?

I agree with Bobsmyth.
However in my opinion, I think it is most likely a good sign since CIS would not ask for a 2nd FP notice unless they were ready to proceed with your case. This is especially apparent in your case since your interview was rescheduled due to pending name check.

Whats 1447 b
Actually I meant WOM since 1447(b) can only be filed if you already had your interview (I assume you haven't had your interview yet) A WOM is a legal motion to force USCIS to act on your case after a extended delay (ie:> 1 year).
oh yeah i actually got a call from the ESC and spoke to an actual woman. she was quite shrewd but Im not intimidated by them as I went to american school and worked for the govt since i was 20. she sounded kinda shrewd but I was calm and explained to her about my case. she asked me a few questions and tried to keep it short but i made sure i told her how this whole ordeal has messed up my life. she actually listened. after that i got this notice. so im keeping my fingers crossed.........
