2nd Finger Print Notice for I485 at TSC

Hello Everyone,

I heard many people got notice for 2nd time finger print with code 1 for whom I-485 applications tranferd from VSC to TSC.

I have not got one yet, hope I get soon.

After code 1 FP do we get GC soon? or still they / USCIS needs to do many things?

All the Experts here in this form, could have there experience shared here?

We heard this when we contacted VSC "you will get FP notices when your case will ready for officer review/adjudication".
We dont know whether this is the policy for issuing 2nd FP, or just a requirement after transfer from one center to other.
Recetly, lots of FPs have been issued, let us see what is the purpose?.
USCIS knows better.

i was told the same thing in an infopass in california.
then my case was transfered to NSC and got 2nd fp. i went to infopass today and was told my NC is still pending so things are random.
 
2nd Finger printing was done on May 9th but still no case status update.
Also applied for EAD renewal but no receipt yet ( almost 2 wks ). I am very concerned about the EAD receipt. Can someone suggest something?

My case was transferred from VSC to TSC.
 
2'nd Finger printing after case got transfered from VSC to TSC

My I-485 case was transfered from VSC to TSC around 3/27/2007 and then I did a code 1 Fingerprint on 5/9/2007. But after that no LUD or message change. It still says "This case is now pending at the office to which it was transfered". Don't know what is happening now or going to happen after July'2007 when my priority date becomes current.
 
Mee too, Transfered from VSC to TSC around 3/27/2007 and then did Fingerprint on 5/9/2007. Not updates yet
 
Stuck in Name Check

I did a InfoPass on my pending I-485 petition and came to know that my Name Check by FBI has not been cleared since USCIS initially initiated it in Sep'2005 (after I-485 filing in Aug'2005). So I guess for my self no luck this time (Jul-Aug) with my PD being current to get my GC.
 
Hi all.,

My case was transfered from VSC-TSC in March. I received my 2nd finger prints on May 11th. No online status showing finger prints received.

Today, I went Infopass,newark. They said both the Name Check/Finger prints were processed for me and wife. If i dont hear from USCIS , they asked to take infopass again in the comming months.
 
My case transferred from VSC to TSC. Got a 2nd FP notice last week for code 1 to be done on 6/26.

Hoping for the good.
 
Does anybody know how many times we need to take finger printing? What is the meaning of CODE 1, 2, 3 for FP? Do i have to take another FP after CODE 3 then, CODE 2 and CODE 1?

How long i have to wait to get GC after giving FP CODE 3?

Got 485 approved today for both me and my wife.

BTW, I am an Ac-21 case (changed 2 jobs). Not a single enquiry ever came.

transferred from VSC to TSC but no FP notice

My case is LC substitution (PD Jan 1999). Filed I-485 on Feb 16th 2006 at VSC. Like many of you, my case(I-485) has been transferred from VSC to TSC on March 15th 2007 but haven't received any FP notice after that. Do any of you know what this means? Do I need to call USCIS and enquire about it? Gurus, I'd really appreciate your expert insights into this matter. :confused:

AC-21 usage

HI, I'm asking below question because I see you used AC-21, if not appropriate please ignore:

I'm working for Company A and my I-485 is getting processed through company B. I filed I-485 and received EAD but still working on company A and planning to work for company B soon for 6 months by using H1 instead of EAD. My question is; after 6 months working for company B can I change job using EAD?

I'll appreciate your answer.

I'm currently working for a different company using AC-21. As far as I understand, you can work company B for 6 months from the date of I-485 pending and then use AC-21 to switch companies. The new job you are taking should be same or similar job title as mentioned while filing your I-140.
 
I had a simlar situvation, Case transferred from VSC to TSC...got 2 FP on 9th May and GC approved on 28th June.
 
Is it possible to revoke I-140 by company B?

Hi, Thanks for your response. After I change to new employer (company C) whether Company B employer have option to revoke my I-140 and GC process? If yes, how can this be avoided? Any answer would be helpful.
