Just got an email from USCIS and also checked online to confirm that my 2nd EAD is apporved today.

Hi Tamilpayyan

Can you please tell us whether there is any overlap date between first EAD and 2nd EAD. If your first EAD is expiring on 6/25/04. The second one is valid from 6/25/04 or whether there are any overlaps.. :confused:

If I am not wrong, my second EAD will be valid from today 06/29 as it is approved today. I dont see any chances of overlapes here. (unless I am missing something here)

My 2 nd EAD is approved on 6/15/04 and valid till 6/14/05 while my first EAD expires on 6/25/04.So the 1 year starts from the day it approved.

Every parameter of your application are close to mine. We are on the same boat. In my second EAD application, i forget to attach two photos. Now i saw further information needed from internet for my case this morning. To my lucky, I have got interim EAD from local office valid until next Feb.

Can you please provide the email address for the USCIS you got the mail so that I can setup the mobile alert from my hotmail account. This way I do not have to check the INS website every hour even though the status only changes twice a day on the web site.
