I think you should apply for your EAD renewal by sep-oct timeframe. Since the BCIS site says you should apply 6 months before your EAD expires for renewal. Check it

I will probably re-apply for my EAD in the month of September(Play Safe!!!). Hopefully I won't have to go for my third one...Who Knows!!!!

Luckily, my friend just got his EAD approved on Friday Jun 19 2003.

Just to share this info. He applied on Apr 10, and was approved Jun 19. Considerred pretty lucky at this time! espeically when everything takes a long long time...

Can we get iEAD even if we got RFE issued for EAD and it is in the process ? And 90-days were passed after RD.

How did you get back dated EAD ?

Technically you can apply for IEAD after 90 days even in the case of an RFE, but there is a fair chance that the Local INS can say

"The Service Center has an issue with it.. therefore we cannot do it here".

Its worth giving it a shot though.

Got iEAD today

Today I got iEAD from local INS office (Bloomington, MN). I took all the documents mentioned elsewhere in the threads, but only thing they have asked is Original Receipt of EAD and ID. They have given iEAD for 3 months.

I hope the EAD will be approved by that time.

RFE.

Guys,
My RFE was for proof of approved i-140. Luckily I got it from my former employer and sent it to my atty.
RFE response should reach NSC by mid week next week.
How long does it take once they get the response to the RFE?
