Try checking the status of this number on their web-site. This number should be available immediately to be checked. That way you will know the validity of this number. Else you can also call NSC. Never heard of this from anyone. I will check with friends if they have done e-file of EAD.mv1211 said:hi guys...

That's a typical e-file receipt number. Starts with MSC04800, right? That's what mine started with.

Don't worry, that's a normal receipt no. for E-filed applications of EAD renewals.
