2ed fingerprint. Does it mean anything?

Was asked to go for 2ed fingerprint 4 months after the interview in San Jose::confused: Does this mean anything?

FPs are only valid for 15 months, so they sent you another request to get them redone. Since you already had your interview (and most likely security checks completed) , it may just have been automatically sent. You can schedule Infopass to see if you still need them redone.
 
but i don't understand y they ask for the fingerprint to be taken every 15 months? one's fingerprint will never change, they can use the past fingerprint to do the background check.
