Although I\'m not an active visitor of this site, I thought my approval news would bring hopes to all those who applied under 245(i). My case was approved without an RFE or Transfer and the worst nightmare is over. Approved on March 5th 2002 and got passport stamped on Mar. 15th with a courtesy copy.

Finally heard the Magic words "Approved" RD 7/09/2001

I am not sure if you remember me from the discussion that you posted sometime back \'Calling all 245i people\'......I had a situation close to yours........

glad to hear that you got approved without RFE/Transfer......that gives me a lot of hope.......

could you please send me your e-mail id.....I might have to contact you at the time my case comes close to approval.....I have a July RD....hopefully I should hear something from INS in a month or so....

Hi Guys,

I have applied 485 and have not completed my 180 days and got laid-off. I am wondering can I claim under 245i. First of all, am I eligible to claim under 245(I)? since my 485 has been already filed. Hi Gurus,
I need anyones help if they have information. Here is the situation. I am filing for I485, got my LC and I140 approved.
Actually while filing for LC by mistake our company provided wrong starting date for me. I started in June but by mistake company mentioned that I started working from May. As before this job i was student and completed my master I got my OPT work permit from INS, which was starting from June though and I did not do anything illigal and started my job from June only. Now My LC and I140 has got cleared based on information that I started my job in May and now i am filling for the I485, where I am going to correct that date to June.

Do you guys feel that this mistake can be problem in my I485 approval. Actually my lawyer is saying that it will not be problem as I actually started working in June and I did not do anything illigal. My lawyer says that in worst case we may get RFE and we have to prove by providing all payslips and tax return that I really started working from June not may of 2000.

Please help me guys and let me know your views on this issue. I will appreciate your help.

your lawyer is right.....

in case you want to have peace of mind(I don\'t think this is required, but)...you can attach a copy of your payslips and W-2 with your I-485 .......
