what is this deal about 245 i. suppose somebody filed a labor application before april 30, 2001 or august 15, 2001 and say their 6 year H1 limit expires and their labor is not approved, can they still stay in u.s. and continue working under this law. would appreciate comments, inputs especially from Jim. thanks

My H1 expires June 7, 2002.
Labor applied July 31, 2001.
