    Finally...
    My above case (01-124-xxxxxx) has been approved for me and my family members.
    It has been a looong journey for me. Details:
    Came to US 09/1993 and started with this company in mid-1995.
    Initial process started 02/1996 - EB3 (PD 02/22/1996); though I started the paperwork in 08/1995;
    delays at lawyers end in filing initial labor certification.
    LC approved - 04/1999 (yes , 3+ years)
    I-140 filed - 04/30/1999
    H-1B 6-year limit hit 09/24/1999.Hence, transferred to UK subsidiary on 09/23/1999
    I-140 rejected on some technical grounds - 11/30/1999 - didn\'t matter. I was already out of US
    Transferred back to US on L-1 - 10/22/2000
    Filed I-140 under EB-1 (transferring overseas manager) - 11/03/2000 (PD 11/03/2000)
    I-140 approved - 01/22/2001
    Filed I-485 - 02/12/01 ND 03/08/01
    FP done as per scheduled - 08/15/2001
    Approved on 01/22/2002 and received the notices yesterday 01/26/2002.
    Need to go to INS office Monday to get it stamped.
    So, finally an end in sight....My patience was really running out, though.
 
Expecting few more people to report their approval in the last week

Since people go into kind of weightlessness after hearing "that" message, a lot 33% people do not visit this board immediately,
and report their approval. Some are so scared about voodoo that they don\'t announce till they get the approval in the mail
Some get busy so they report after PP stamping
1% to 3% are purely selfish, they straight way go to After Gc thread and never report :-(

In short, We are expecting few more , so keeping this thread alive for time being.

Last week we had 10 out of 28 reporting as late as Wednesday next week.

    today finished a nearly 5+ year wait for GC.

    EB3/CSC (non RIR)
    Application sent to lawyer: Nov 96
    LC applied: Mar 97
    LC approved: May 99
    Company bought over: July 99
    I-40 applied (successor of interest): Nov 99
    I-140 approved: Dec 2000
    I-485 applied: Feb 2001 ( waiting for PD to become current)
    I-485 approved: Jan 2002
    Passport Stamped: Jan 2002

    Hopefully should get plastic card in a couple without any further problems..

AVM is automated voice message provided by a computer system

The I-485 receipt notice has a telephone number which is very busy throughout the day- I always try this number after 9 pm at night

You can punch in the receipt number (wac-01-XXX-XXXX) which is present on ur receipt copy and it gives u the case status information

I hope u have a copy of the I-485 receipt notice.

In case u do not have one then u need to get this information from ur attorney

Green Card Approval Message from AVM in CSC Center.

    Hi Gurus,

    Could you please let me know if there are any recent changes made in the AVM
    for the green card approval CSC Center. I have applied and awaiting for my I-485 approval
    from the CSC center.

    Please let me know what exactly the message has to get displayed after approval of I-485.
    The reason I am asking this because reecently, there has been changes occured for the
    fingerprints messages. Does any changes occurs the same for the I-485 approval and if
    so what is the exact message it appears on the AVM.

    Please let me the exact message it appears on the AVM after approval of I-485 from CSC.

    we (my wife, son and me) got our I485 approval notices yestoday. even on last friday when I call AVM, the information was the same as before: " ...take xxx days". thank
    you all in this forum to share your information and experience. they are really helpfull. thank again!!!

maybe it is an avm glitch

it should not be difficult for rameshk to contact iio and make sure

anyway he should get approval notice in the mail
