21 Months

I just spoke to a IIO at NCS. She informed me that BCIS should and will communicate to the applicant around 21 months of filling I-485. So I will have to wait for three more months to hear anything from them. She also informed that FP's will expire in 1 year and not 15 -18 months.

I don't know if this would help anyone.

Tiger, based on the anwer to ...

... the Finger Printing validity period, I am not sure whether the IIO you spoke to can be trusted.

As to my knowledge (even according to the attorney I consulted and as seen on all these forums - or fora if u may) that period is 15 mos. (rather than just 12).

Pork / Ghee and any one else more knowledgeable about this, please pitch in.

My case is more than 21 months hold and so far INS has not even bothered to contact me, so that tells you how much trust you can put in these IIOs.
