Same happened to me. I did my biometrics prior to the appointment date. I called to clarify after receiving the second notice and was told to disregard it. It was some kind of a mistake on their side. Everyone scheduled for the next few weeks got it. Same date just different time, right? Chose one and go for whichever time works for you. Good luck! Below is my timeline.

03/15/2013 - sent to Phoenix, AZ
03/18/2013 - package received
03/21/2013 - check cashed
03/22/2013 - email acceptance confirmation
03/28/2013 - biometrics notice for 4/17/13
04/05/2013 - walk in biometrics done!
04/08/2013 - in line for interview according to status check online
04/16/2013 - interview scheduled as per case status online (awaiting a letter to find out the date)

Hi guys I am soooo happy. Yesterday I went to my interview and I passed and I got the ceremony appointment after 20 days.

My interview was at 8:20 in Buffalo. I arrived one hour early, my house one hour away from Buffalo so left my home too early around 6:30. The officer called my name at 9:00. The first thing she asked to was to swear to say the true nothing but the true. Then she asked me if I want to change my name, I said no. She asked me : I saw in your birth certificate you were born in North Yemen, and in your application you wrote in Yemen. I said: I was born in Yemen there is no north or south.
After few seconds she asked me: can you vote now? I questioned: Do you mean vote for federal election? She said : yes. I answered : I can't vote if I am not a citizen. She said: Did you vote before? No was my answer.
Then she said: your husband is in Yemen. I said: No he lives in Qatar.
I was worried about my three visits to my country, but she did NOT asked any question about it.
After that she asked me to read a line and then to write a sentence, and then the 6 civil question.
Then she gave me the result paper with the check mark next to congratulation!. She went to another office and gave me the ceremony appointment . I said thank you. I left the office and I SCREAMED in the waiting area and hugged my mom.

Interview office

It would be helpful if applicants would mention their interview office, so others could get an idea of processing times.

Citizenship Interview at Baltimore Office

The interview was quick and fast. Overall I will rate them 8 out of 10.

The Oath Ceremony was same day as well. That was not too bad as well.

In all, I had a good day. My Interviewer was friendly.

Here is mine. We were assigned the Baltimore office and the end to end process took about 4.5 months for us (even though the USCIS website shows a 6 months average)
