Online Status checker- My Case Status

Is this real-time or there is a 24hr delay?
In other words, if a change occurs at 11am, would it immediately seen online or you have to wait till next day?

Is it a good idea to create a "e-Request"?
 
Can u do FP by going with the online printout? What are the hours in SJC

Do u need the mailed letter in hand to do the FP?
If so how come this guy did it on Nov 14th when the letter was in hand on 11/30/2011

Also what is the biz hours?

yellow letter received

I got the yellow letter in the mail today saying I had said in the application I had been arrested and should provide full documentation for this at the time of interview. I had listed a minor traffic ticket ($ 100 fine) in the application form. No change in online status - still says initial review.

Did you state in your application "dispose of" the traffic ticket on <date> ?
Did you say the fine was less than $500?

I don't know if they used a std form.
 
Guys,

Sounds like all of us who submitted in December, and did our FP in January got NOTHING after the FP was completed! No "in line for interview" or even an update online!!

That is true in my case as well. Submitted app in december, finger printing done on Jan 12. Spouse status moved to in line for interview scheduling. No updates to my case. Still in Initial Review. However yesterday got the yellow letter for both me and spouse asking us to bring driver license.

Do you think that this is a clerical error?
In our N-400, I put down my email - we never got any email status update - no emails at all - but my application was returned due to wrong year in the check (2012 instead of 2011) - we fixed it.

I know most of us did FP and yet nothing at all. Wonder if things are super backed up or just a slow Jan. I did FP on Jan 17 and no YL and no updated. Just waiting.

Please keep us posted and lets keep the 2011 Dec tracker going. Let's hope things pick up soon
 
Looks like both Dec and Jan applicants are feeling that the process is moving slow. Could be a change from before in process/personnel.

Good, rule has been changed to skip in line for intervew....once u get moved to next stage, that means interview has been scheduled.....

haha....
