If H1B visa is applied in first week of June 2005 for 2006 quota, will regular processing get approval, or is it best to go for premium?

The difference is that the time frame in which your application gets processed would reduce from normal (x months) to 20 days. Its only that you will get your approval/rejected status within 20 days. But will not effect your application against the quota count. Its first-come-first-serv basis which is not altered by premium processing.

thats good to know, a consultant erroneouosly informed me that the premium processing was better if you were worried about missing the cap.

also, if premium processing takes 15 days, how long does it normally take for regular processing to get an answer? 2,3,4,5,6 months?

thanks!
