2005 Separately Filed 485 Cases

Hi, I know it is still WAY TOO EARLY to think about approval for us 2005 applicants. But at least let us gather some information. I filed 485 in Jan 2005 and just received fingerprint notice today. Please reply if you filed your 485 separately in 2005.

What is CODE on your FP notice? Is it 1 or 2 or 3?

I think our dates are similar:) I hope I get a FP notice soon!
My I-140 was approved December 9,2004. I-485 was received January 19th,2005. What did your FP notice say? I am EB3.

Hi, Value1 and Ellada, My FP notice has code "3". What does it mean? The notice doesn't say anything else other than the date and location of the assigned FP center.

Code 3 on FP notice to the best of my knowledge on the FP notice means FP (all 10 fingers) + Biometrics (Photo, Signature, Index finger FP) is to be done. Nowadays USCIS is doing this to avoid a passport stamping visit once I-485 is approved.
 
Hi, I know three of my friends who have received FP notice with data 4/22/2005. Their 485 RD range from 08/2004 to 02/2005. It seems TSC is sending out a large volume of FP notices. I guess that also means our 485 won't be approved in next 2-3 months.

AS far as i know, to go early for fingerprints.. i dont think u need to inform them...
just got with the notice you should be fine

Did early finger prints

hey guys..

well i had my fp date for april 22.... went to the ins office n gave my fp on April 1st... and today my lud got updated for April 1...
 
I also did early FP on 3/24 and LUD changed the next day. But online message is the same.

Hi, according to my own tracker (tracking about 50 cases), Three 485 applications filed in Jan, 2005 with receipt number SRC0507451XXX have received RFE. Don't know if these are separately or concurrently filed. But at least TSC is touching 2005 cases (not just sending FP).

Well its good to know TSC is working good and quick....

My cousin filed for 140/485 at the same time in SEp 2004... Under the EB1 (WAs on an L1A)

got his approval on 4/15/2005.... in Just 6 Months Time :)

He did his finger print on 4/02/05 and got the approval yesterday....

So just keep your fingers crossed and hope for the best...

:)
