Hey Seemsys.
What is the your RFE ON 131 ?? is it same photo Identify Stuff??

have you received any decision yet on your I765?

my case is similar. RFE received on 765 asking for clear photocopies and photographs. RFE replied on 7/8/04, received by USCIS on 7/12. LUD changed to 7/12 and then to 7/13. no decision yet.

i recd the RFE (765) on 6/30 or 6/29. i have not applied for 131. i think it took 12-15 days since first started working on my case i.e. from LUD.
 
EAD - Not yet

My husbands EAD was applied in April and since it was more than 90 days he went to the district office, which in our case is Baltimore and in an hour or so got his EAD for 6 months.

He has to take his passport , drivers license, i765 recipt notice and they took a picture of him and after verifying documents they gave him the EAD.

So i guess all went well even though his EAD which is freckin 95 days old is not approved yet???????

As a next step - does he need to get his passport stamped and get SSN?

Also, once he has taken EAD does he need to have AP to travel abroad (India etc). Or AP is reqd. only if he uses his EAD?

We are also planning to go to the local office here. Its been more than 130 days for us since we have applied.

I dont knwo if he needs his passport stamped. Stamped for what. Please clarify. I dont know what needs to be done.

I have to talk to my lawyer to find out if he needs AP to travel to india.I am not sure abotu that one.

Will let you guys know if i find somethign new.

Gurus,

What are the 140 processing dates for eb2 & eb3.
On the website its still 2003. but I saw a few approvals in 2004 cases.
So am a little confused.

Passport is not stamped for EADs.

EAD and AP are not interrelated, but as a rule of thumb - get AP if you have used EAD. There are ways to enter in USA without AP too, depending on various conditions. However if your 485 is approved - you cannot enter without AP.

Does that mean that You still need to have AP after your GC ( 485) approved to enter.

Yes that is the only way to best of my knowledge. All other documents cease to be valid after that. In fact you do not enter on AP too - you are allowed to enter as deferred inspection parolee on the basis of your (existing) valid AP.

In simple words - all that it means it that you should have valid AP to cross port of entry if your 485 is done. And you cannot get AP after 485 is done, so get it done before you leave USA, if 485 is pending.

Specify the application type for which you see LUD changes. It is not clear from your post.

Looks like 765 will be approved soon.

Your 140 approval is due anyway.
