Change of Company while in Finger Printing process

Hi everyone,
I have a very important question which I need to know the answer to very urgently. As you can see below, my Finger Print date is April 7th, 2005. I am interviewing with some companies right now and I would like to know the impact of changing companies in this time.

1. If I go to Texas or Calfornia, what happens to my 485 case? Does it also get transfered to that state? Texas is far behind compared to Vermont and California.

2. What is the best scenario to follow? I still have my H1B which expires 2006 October. But the new employer probably will employ with my EAD card. I have not used my EAD card yet because I had more time on H1B.

What do you Gurus suggest me doing? Wait until I get the green card? Does changing the company cause any delay in processing of 485?

How to reschedule FP for different region?????

Gurus,

Although we live in NY but our PF is scheduled for Boston . It seems like since our lawyer is from Boston and he receives all the communication and due to some confusion at USCIS's part they schedule it at Boston instead of New Rochell NY. How can I reschedule it for New Rochell NY. Can we simply go to New Rochell and try to get it done.

Please comment.

hmmm....i thought it means people cannot apply for 485 unless there priority date is current. I may be wrong....

Most likely you will have to wait until your priority date becomes current. I am saying this assuming you are in EB3 category and were born in either India, China, or Philippines.

I have seen some people attempted to do early FP in New Rochelle, NY but were not allowed. But if you can prove them you live here and was wrongly scheduled in Boston, and they accept probably they might allow you.

If you are willing to drive a little bit fartherm you can try in Hempstead, NY. I myself did FP in Hempstead, NY while mine was wrongly scheduled in Manchester, NH. They didn't care about the actual date/location of FP notice.

LUD on 485

Today LUD changed on I-485 of mine and my spouse. I sent in AR11 recently. I guess that could be the case for this LUD. I have my scheduled FP on 4/1/2005

That is true too. But if you have applied before Jan 1, 2005 and your PD is not current then your 485 cannot be approved until your PD becomes current.
 
LUD Changes for spouse's 485

My wife's 485 LUD changed on 3/14 and 3/15.. please see my signature for more details..
 
How long does it take for USCIS to update address after receiving AR 11 form ??

Do you remember how long it took for AR-11 changes to show up in your case on the USCIS website. I have sent my AR-11 form around March 1st and I called them around Mar 2nd. I do not see any updates on any of my cases till now.

I was just wondering how long it normally takes for AR-11 changes to reflect on the website.
 
I sent AR-11 and also made the call on Feb 14th . And online change happened on March 2nd..

I posted AR 11 on 2/25/2005 and reached UCIS on 3/4/2005 and I saw the LUD on 485 today(3/15/2005). Hope this helps. I have not called them.

I did get an LUD on I-485 as well. However, I also sent in an AR-11 (address change), which was entered into their system presumably around the same time my RFE was issued. So, it's hard to link the LUD changes one way or the other.

I've seen trends where the RFE typically is issued 3 weeks or so after the LUDs. I hope that yours isnt an RFE though, hang tight!

I talked with USCIS guys today asking about the LUD change on my 485 and rest of all application. she said it is normal and was reluctant to give additional info. gained nothing much by talking to her but she said u should be getting decision pretty soon..
 
FP Done in Philly

I would like to share my experience. FP done on 3/10/04 self and my wife. It took 2 hours.

LUD changed same day 3/10/04 for both. receive two email for wife only no message change. No more LUD so far.

NO FP related LUD

I do not see any FP related LUD in my case. My FP was done on 3/9. They did not take the computer FP for me. My wife had a digital FP and her info is already in FBI system. Mine is still pending, but there are no LUDs for us. And my I-140 is still pending without any LUDs. What do you guys think?

Hi everyone,

I finally had my EB1-OR I-140 approved yesterday (3/14/05). Got the emails today morning (3/15/05) :) Details:

I-140: ND: 4/15/04, RFE: 1/26/05, RFE replied: 2/17/05, AD: 3/14/05
LUDs: 1/10/05, 1/11/05, 1/27/05(RFE), 2/22/05, 2/23/05, 3/15/05 (approval)

I-485: ND: 4/15/04, FD: 3/31/05, AD: ???

Please update the tracker.

Any One with 485 ND beyond 07/04 from VA region received FP Notices..?

Any One with 485 ND beyond 07/04 from Northern VA region received FP Notices..? My ND is Aug/04 and I have not received any FP notice yet..Please confirm if any one received..so that I can try calling USCIS.

Yes , First I will try at New Rochelle NY and if they don't do it then will try to go to Hempstead NY. What time did you go to Hempstead NY?I mean morning/afternoon....?. Please advice what will be the best time.
