yes NYdeal,
may be mine pd is feb 2004 that's why i am not getting FPs now
but my lud changed on 2/3/05
i gave my friend's address in my GC application, i am just waiting from my friend's call about mail for FP hopefully.

MA_Labor,

IMO, the LUD change menas that they actually mailed the approval to your attorney or company. It happened to me as well. Good luck for the future .

Seems logical. I am EB2/VA case with April'04 ND. I received ny 140 yesterday - but no news on FP yet.

btw, where does the FP notice come? Does it go to the lawyer or will it be mailed to my home address? Thanks for the insight on this...
 
My current first three-year H1-B visa will expire in September 05 and I am thinking whether I should extend the visa.

I have not filed EAD/AP with my I-140/485. Now I-140 has been approved and FP notice received.

Should I just file EAD/AP while I am waiting for I-485 approval? I understand EAD/AP needs to be renewed annually but one year probably will be sufficient for me to wait for I-485 approval. Even with renewal for second year, it will save me some lawyer fee.

Any suggestion/comments will be appreciated. Thanks and good luck with all. :)

In my opinion, you should wait till April/May and then file extenstion some time in May/June.

Its better to have EAD/AP

Thanks juniordj78! But I got the approval notice from my attorney about 2 weeks ago. Looks like this time it's the FP notce. I have seen some posts where there was a LUD change on 140 and they ended up getting the FP notice.

Another LUD change on 140 today

I-140 Nd: 12/13/04 | Ad: 02/04/05 | Lud: 02/07/05 | Lud: 02/23/05 | Lud: 02/24/05
 
LUDs for EAD and AP changed for me and my spouse too, yesterday.
New LUD is 2/23/2005.
No change in status message.

Looks like you'll be receiving a FP notice in the mail shortly.
 
EB3 2005 ND get ready for FP

Itseems my friend received letters from USCIS,Hopefully they are FP.

So,EB3 2005 ND guyz,get ready for your FP.

I will post my dates as soon as I get them to my hand.

Wait till april/may if you I-485 is approved by that time then you don't need H1-B or EAD.

Incase if your I-485 is still pending then you can file for H1-B extension.
If you are married then its better to file for EAD too.

I hope before May end your I-485 will be approved.

Its my FP notice,I have given his address.And my ND is Jan 5th 2005.
You know what,we both got I140 approved on same day (Jan 31st).I am sure you will get your FP today.

Did you see any 140 LUDs before receiving the FP notice.

PS... it's a cool car. Do you drive one? I know my wife wants one :)
 
My RFE is to change my case from EB2 to EB3

Thing is, till date I was thinking my application was in EB3 category. Got a call from employer and it seems they applied in EB2, Now USCIS is asking to change to EB3. I don’t have the RFE copy but my employer told me that according to my education background (M.Sc. and 8+ years of experience) is not sufficient to qualify under EB2. They are going to respond to RFE today by changing the category.

Please help me in this regard, I don’t know how this is going to affect my PD, I’m in EAD after 6 years of H1. After reply to RFE how long it takes to get I140 approval? Will it impact I485 processing?

Anybody had this problem?

I appreciate any input in this matter.
