* * * 2003 RD will not get GCs

For the people who applied in 2003, there is no possibility of getting their applications approved.

Better to look for opportunities in India ?

news...
and it appears that things are suggeting this direction.

As long as law permits lets make money here as well as experience and go back...
After all what is wrong in India.

It is better than hanging in - here in unending uncertainity

I see an element of truth in 1AMSHANTANU's explanation. Getting GC may not be as easy in future as it is now. Only thing is we don't know when the tough time begins. It's better to make the best out of EAD by jumping from one company to other, demanding more and more salary. There is no point in working for
50K for your sponsoring employer till the GC approval. As i suggested in one of my earlier posts, make merry with the EAD instead of waiting desperately for GC. And finally, keep an eye on
good openings in India / China etc

Why should we care about the issue which we don't have any control? Just don't care and keep moving.........................

This forum is to care about this ( but not to worry on this )
and
our movement is tied to GC in many ways....

GC relieves you from a major uncertainity of life

If this forum is to care about this what action can be taken to reduce the backlog in GC processing and also ensure GC for 2003 GC aspirants. C'mon we can shout in this forum and sometimes get Mr. Rajiv Khanna to send some petition to BCIS, nothing much can be done..........

We should have someone at political level to express our problems. Some of us might be influential down the road but as of today people like Khanwal Rekhi should take initiative to represent us.

Just out of curiousity, what is the basis, if any, of your claim that green cards will not be given to people applying in 2003? This would appear to be news to immigration lawyers.

Law is one thing - Implementation is other thing.

See the trend..
Does it not appear that, it is being tried to push the individual to his limits on his survival ? Its a mean to discourage the people, cashing on word "Security".

Change of law bluntly will have political implications,
but not the implementation.

In this pace of processing - how long will it take for 2003 RD ?
