Hi all,

After reading "485 approved" almost everyday for the past 17 months in here...Let me say it now... 485 Approved. (plain excited...and happy...and so much relieved...)

Yesteday night I got the conf email from USCIS.

They have not approved my wife's case yet. I am seeing LUD changes for her case past two days without any message change.

This has been a great forum. It has always helped me to get here.

Case Details:-
# 04/05/2005: 485 Approved for self
# 04/05/2005: LUD change on spouse 485
# 04/04/2005: LUD change on spouse 485
# 03/03/2005: Finger printing done for self and spouse
# 01/26/2005: 140 approved
# 12/26/2004: 140 RFE for experience letters
# 09/26/2003: Concurrent filing for 140 & 485 for self and spouse
# 08/27/2003: Federal Labor approved
# 06/11/2003: Application moved to Philadelphia DOL.
# 06/09/2003: RFE for lawyer change of address.
# 01/09/2002: Filed Labor RIR (Priority Date)
# 07/16/2001: Started Paper Work by lawyer.
 
Guys Help me!!!

As I mentioned earlier, USCIS said my case is pending because of security check. Today I received email from FBI says in other way :confused:

"A review of the FBI's Name Check Program database concerning "xxxxxxx XXXXXX" revealed a request was received from the United States
Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) on October 3, 2003 and it
was completed also on October 3, 2003. The results were forwarded to the
USCIS Headquarters in Washington DC."

Now I donno what to do :confused: :eek: ? Any help is most wanted.

I know that there are other checks USCIS performs other than the Name check / Security check. But I am not sure whether you can get any info on those checks.

When did you mail FBI regarding your case?
 
I recieved a status enquiry letter for my wife's case stating the case is pending due to "Visa availability" :rolleyes: . I am assuming that it has something to do with the PD. :confused:

This is just what I could think of ??
I think you might have already done this but .....

1. Call the USCIS Number.
2. Tell them about this issue.
3. Ask them if you could FAX the document you received from FBI.

I have enquired regarding my case with USCIS.
I got a reply saying my case is "Pending Service Consideration"
They also updated the LUD and the message now says:

"On March xx, 2005, we responded to your request for more information concerning your case. If you have not received our response within 30 days from this date, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.
"

Could anyone tell me what is "Pending Service Consideration"? What do I do about it?

My ND is 08/20/2003. I enquired about my case and got the same reply. If anyone can shed some light about what it is, it would be great.

Was you case stuck in Name / security check? If so, how long did it take to clear the name check? Also, how long did it take after the clearance of the name check?

Yes. I sent a letter to FBI in Nov 2004. They got back to me in Feb 2005 with the information that my wife's was cleared but not mine. I again sent a request letter to that person (the Chief) and also called them (Diane Burger )and requested her.

I don't know whether my name check has been cleared or not !!!
There is no information from them about it, but my I-485 has been approved.

I also applied for our EAD renewal for 3rd time just recently. This could also trigger the approval ?????????????????????????
 
LUD change again

My I485 has been approved yesterday. In addtion, my LUD has changed again to today's date. Does anybody know what this mean?
